Ellen obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She began her career in 1992 as an inpatient therapist in a psychiatric hospital and has worked as a school counselor as well as a school-based therapist. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and certified by The National Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. At Crossroads Counseling Center, Ellen works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She works with clients coping with anxiety, depression, developmental issues, trauma, self-harming behaviors as well as gender identity issues.
