Kirby earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in May of 2000. She is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina. Kirby utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in treating individuals ages 18 and up who are suffering primarily with depression, anxiety, anger, and purpose.
