Lizabeth Matthews, PhD / Counseling, LCMHCBeth Matthews has been part of Crossroads Counseling Center since 2014, bringing more than four decades of experience in counseling, education, and training across many clinical, community, faith-based, and university settings. She works with children aged five and older, adolescents, individuals, marriages, and families. She has extensive expertise helping those with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, attachment issues, parenting concerns, difficult conflicts,, life crises, and cross-cultural concerns. Integrating research-based approaches like EMDR, TF-CBT, and neuroscience-informed care, Beth provides Spanish-speaking or faith-based counseling when requested. Beth holds a PhD in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor as well as a Board-Certified Professional Christian Counselor.
