Psychologist or Psychologist Associate
As a W-2 employee, the position offers flexibility with work hours. Therapists have their own designated offices to see clients in-person or telehealth. Office hours are Monday through Friday and no weekends. Plus, there is clinical peer collaboration and support that provides a cohesiveness in services to clients.

Psychologists are supported by an administrative team that aids with assistance in scheduling, check-in/check-out, billing, credentialing, authorizations, etc. to allow the psychologist to spend as much time with the clients as possible.
Candidates should have a minimum of a master’s degree in psychology and licensed (or applying for license) in the State of North Carolina. To fulfill the position, psychologists must demonstrate competency in psychological evaluations, report writing, diagnosing, treatment planning, and treatment of mental disorders as delineated in the DSM-5-TR. Also, the candidate must have the ability to work independently, yet as a clinical team member.
Therapist- Outpatient Mental Health
Crossroads Counseling Center is an outpatient mental health agency and has an immediate opening for a full-time Counselor/Therapist/Social Worker (fully license or associate license). Experience working with young children is a plus. We are an established practice with a growing need to provide services to children, adolescents, and adults.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes, promote recovery, and support overall well-being. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
- Prescribe and manage medications such as psychopharmacology treatments, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and other psychiatric medications.
- Provide psychotherapy services utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC or equivalent).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a nurse practitioner with psychiatric specialization.
- Demonstrated experience in behavioral health settings with exposure to diverse populations including working with children.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles and medication management strategies.
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to perform physical examinations when necessary.
- Familiarity with telehealth Zoom platform for remote patient consultations is preferred.
