Michele Hewitt is a clinical mental health counselor who joined Crossroads Counseling Center in 2018, bringing more than eight years of counseling experience and a strong background in education and adolescent and family programming. She works with individuals ages 13 and up, couples, and families. She specializes in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, life transitions, and sex offender treatment. She is trained in EMDR, DBT, and Darkness to Light and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She also serves as an adjunct professor and community leader committed to helping people create healthier and more peaceful lives.
