Kaylee McCarty joined Crossroads Counseling Center in 2026 as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), bringing over six years of experience in healthcare. Prior to joining, she worked as a registered nurse while completing her PMHNP training, including over 750 clinical hours in psychiatric evaluation, diagnostic assessment, and medication management. Her combined background in nursing and psychology has shaped her patient-centered approach to mental health care. She works with patients at all stages of life and is passionate about getting to know them, building trust with them, helping them to feel heard, and seeing them make progress toward their goals. Kaylee holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and is a recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, recognizing compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and a meaningful impact on patients and their families.
